These expeditions are not reserved for elite adventurers.

If you want to experience the great north; if you dream of something exceptional, authentic and off the beaten path then winter in the Yukon is waiting for you.

On the Trapper’s Trail there is a great variety of landscape to view, from high alpine plains to barren, treeles peaks to beautiful, wilderness lakes.
This trip is the easiest of all three expeditions. The different legs of the journey on snow machine are relaxed and will give you the opportunity to enjoy the country around Fish Lake and the Takhini Glacier.
Everyone has his own style of traveling. Some travel light and some travel with a lot of equipment. We have found the middle ground. A good mattress, a good heated tent, real food and congenieal comraderie. That is our recipe for an enjoyable adventure in the great north.

We will most certainly cross trails with a variety of animals such as lynx, moose, caribou, wolverine, grouse, ptarmigan, rabbit and/or fox. Sometimes we will hear wolves howling at night.
If you are motivated by the unexpected, the light and the landscape of the high country or the curiosity to find out what is over the next mountain then this wilderness experience is for you. Far from computers or telephones the spectacle of the aurora borealis in the clear, norrthern sky will leave you spell bound.
